Mr. A. A. Farthing, secretary to the Vic-
torian Cabinet, has made it clear that th?

to the sub-officers and men of the police forc?

Miss D. Leeson, daughter of Mr. Robert
Leeson of Bungawalbyn has been the
recipient of a series of presentations dur-
ing the past week on the occasion of her
approaching marriage to Mr. Strong, of
Dunoon. The first came from the Christian
Endeavor Society, and took the form of a
handsome marble clock, bearing a suitable
inscription. The presentation was made at
a social gathering in Pursey's Hall, and
in handing over the gift, Mr. G. E. Arillll
(President) paid a tribute to the
recipient's loyal service to the Society.
