Biographies

Duncan Dunbar was a shipping owner who entered the Australian trade in the 1830s with the 530 ton vessel , which was soon joined by his other barques (541 tons), (571 tons), and (361 tons). He was also one of the first British merchants to introduce clippers into the England-Australia run in the 1850s.
