Biographies

Peter Jackson was principal of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), 1967-1976. He had previously held many position in the Australian Army including that of chief superintendent of the Army Design Establishment.

  • Career position - Chief Engineer in S command for the Australian Military Forces
  • Career position - Engineer-in-Chief with the Australian Military Force
  • Career position - Inter-Service Technical Officer at the Joint Staff Service, London
  • Career position - Chief Superintendent of the Army Design Establishment in Victoria
  • Award - Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE)
