Sir Charles Martin taught physiology at the University of Melbourne 1897-1903 and was Director of the Lister Institute, London 1903-1930. He was then Chief of Animal Nutrition, CSIR and Professor of Biochemistry and General Physiology, University of Adelaide 1931-1933.
