    CASTING THE FLOOR OF THE SHRINE. Excavations for the foundation of the National War Memorial, at the corner of North-terrace and Kintore-avenue, have been completed, and on Friday the reinforced concrete platform forming the floor of the shrine was cast in one operation, in front of the work are Mr. L.
