He made up ground gradually and, fifth at the bell, scored handily. The start was delayed through FIRST MASTER breaking the back carrier of his hopples, then MARY'S WISH (20’s to 33’s) broke through and caused a false start. SARAH SANDS (6’s, 5’s and 6’s) galloped out of the barrier and did well to finish third. She is an early winner. MARY'S WISH raced around the field during" the third lap and had nearly reached the leaders when she mixed her gait and dropped to the rear.
