  5. LAUNCH OF THE S.S. DORRIGO AT JERVIS BAY.

    The Dorrigo, launched at Carrumbene Creek, Jervis Bay, on the 3lst ultimo, by Mr. J. Hardmm, for Mr. G. W. Niall, for the Northern Rivers trade, is 137ft. in length, 24ft. beam, by ll½ft. depth. It has a raised quarter-deck 80ft. long by 2ft. high, and a forecastle 2ft. high by 20ft. long. The vessel Will carry about 300 tons in addition to her machinery, which will weigh about 100 tons. VIEWS NEAR TERMINUS OF MANLY-PITTWATER CYCLE PATHS On each side of the road from Manly to Pittwater a cycle track about 3ft. wide has recently been constructed. This affords cyclists a splendid run of over 20 miles. At the Pittwater end there are two roads, each about 3½ miles in length. One is to Newport, the other to Bay View.
