The Tasmanian representative Tassie (T2) defeated representatives from all the States. The N.S.W. yachts Nettle and Wattle sailed an exciting race for second piece, which the former obtained by a margin of five seconds. Tasmania's other representative, Tassie Too, was fourth, 48s astern of the Wattle. On Saturday the Clark Trophy was sailed for. This was won by Caress II. (Queensland)—in the front of the picture—with Wattle second and Spey third. The first of the races for the Forster Cup took place on Monday, and Tassie was again successful.
