An account of the second night of the musical tournament organised by the Tighe's Hill Methodist Church. In the Vocal soloist section for children under 15 Clarence Crockett (son of Isaac Crockett) is mentioned as well as Annie Crockett. NSW BDM has only one Annie Crockett born between 1889 and 1901. She was born in Wellington NSW and would only have been 4 at the time of the competition. The Annie in this article seems likely to be a member of the Samuel and Ellen Crockett family but there is no evidence to show in which specific family group she belongs.

Funeral notice for James Crockett (1851-1906). Children's names are given as Frederick, John, Herbert and Millie Crockett, Mr and Mrs W. Christian and Mr and Mrs Joseph Porter. Elizabeth Crockett was married to Joseph Porter. There is no record of Sarah E Crockett (b1875) or Rachel R Crockett (b 1884) marrying a W Christian. A Nellie Crockett married William Christian in 1897 although there appears to be no record of a Nellie Crockett's birth, nor a Nellie Christian's death. Unless Sarah or Rachel were known as Nellie the funeral notice suggests James had six daughters and and four sons. Robert and Vera pre-deceased him, and on the evidence of this notice, so perhaps did Sarah and Rachel.
