    Public

Australia is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. Transplanted musicians from a huge range of countries and backgrounds have contributed to the very rich menu of musics and musical fusions of all kinds. Australian composers, performers, and scholars actively engage with the musical traditions and innovations of our neighbours in Asia and the Pacific as well as those from Europe.

A cross-section of music from our nearest neighbours New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, and other nations across the Pacific such as Samoa, Chile, and Argentina.
