For a rich musical experience, follow the music in our theme while listening to an ABC Classic FM broadcast.
The Song Company and pianist Ian Munro perform a musical view of Australia's cultural history, presented by ABC Classic FM. From quadrilles to cricket, the concert draws on rare finds from the nation’s music collections from colonial Australia to the Second World War.
The concert forms the finale to a four part ABC Classic FM documentary radio series ‘Canberra’s Calling’, curated by composer and broadcaster Vincent Plush and the National Library of Australia's Curator of Music, Robyn Holmes.
