    MRS. A. EDWARDS
    The death occurred recently at Ken
    sington-terrace, Kensington, of Mrs
    Anne Edwards, aged 83 years. She
    was the daughter of the late Mr. and
    Mrs, W. Breynard, ' who were among
    the earliest pioneers of the Burra
    district. She was educated in Pulteney
    street school, and in 1867 married the
    late Mr. W. H. Edwards, who worked
    for 'The Advertiser' in the commercial
    department, for more than 65 years
    Mrs. Edwards was a keen church
    woman, and during her many years in
    Adelaide was actively associated with
    tthe Chalmers, Draper Memorial, Pirie
    street Methodist, Woodville Methodist
    and Norwood Wesley churches. There
    are two sons (Messrs. A. H. G. Edwards
    and W. E. R. Edwards (Mount Lofty)
    and one daughter, Mrs. A. A. William
    son (North Kensington).
