Collating any information I can find on my Mum's Dad side of the family, The Nicoll's. My 3 times Great Grand Father and Mother come out to Australia in 1848 with my 2 times Great Grandfather who was an infant at the time. My 2x GGrandfather and his Brother were instrumental in opening the steamship trade routes between Sydney and the Manning, Clarence and Richmond River areas, just to name a few. What followed was a story of success, failure, despair, murder and family. All of this family intrigue has been garnered from the digitised pages of history on Trove. What a site. An amazing window into one part of my family's story. Thanks Trove
