Summary
A classic Australian novel. Dick Marston, who is awaiting execution, tells the cautionary tale of his life as a bushranger. Led into a life of crime by their father, Ben Martson, Dick and his brother Jim join Ben and the aristocrat Captain Starlight in driving a mob of stolen cattle overland from New South Wales to South Australia. The novel follows their bushranging escapades that leads to their eventual down fall.
