Notes
  • The Apostles Window ; Delaporte no. 34, Deremble-Manhes no. 0; Panel 7: Two Apostles; MODERN (1872) This panel is probably similar to the original, since Pintard, writing in the early 18th century, describes the original as "two Apostles who come to find Our Lord."; This scene takes place out of doors, as indicated by abstract trees at the extreme left and right. In the center are two men (halo, barefoot, carrying books) who look toward the right (panel 8). Their facial types are similar to those in panel 5. Delaporte identifies them at the future Apostles Andrew and John.
