  • Notre contribution dŽfend la thse selon laquelle le paradoxe libŽral-parŽtien de Sen plaide en faveur de l'Žlaboration d'un nouveau formalisme en termes de mŽtaclassement des prŽfŽrences. Il s'agit d'enrichir la structure traditionnelle des prŽfŽrences par la prise en considŽration des motivations et des valeurs individuelles comme vise ˆ le prouver l'analyse des tentatives de rŽsolution du conflit Pareto-libertŽ que nous opŽrons tout d'abord. Puis, aprs avoir montrŽ que le fait de tenir compte des motivations individuelles justifie un recours au concept de mŽtaclassement des prŽfŽrences, nous suggŽrons une solution au paradoxe libŽral-parŽtien intŽgrant cette notion.
