Also included are portions of the files of the company's geologists. The collection also includes accounts of mining camp life, expenses, accidents, sanitary conditions, insurance, and similar issues. The materials also relate to Brigham Young University Library's holdings on the Spring Canyon Area Coal Company collection.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances.Permission to publish material from the Utah Fuel (Old Geologist Files) Collection must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
