Summary
The report sought to quantify a number of views and perceptions regarding on-hired workers using a rigorous and unbiased survey research methodology. The report was based on survey responses of industry participants such as workers, host employers and providers (employment agency vendors) regarding: - Motivations to participate in on-hired work; - Implications and outcomes. In addition, the study reviewed Australian and overseas literature and was initially guided by depth interviews of both employees and employment agencies.
