Summary
The use of Italian composer Gian Carlo Menotti's musical score by two choreographers, namely Martha Graham in 1947 and Gertrud Bodenwieser in 1954, in their productions "Errand into the Maze" is discussed. Exploring the response to fear, both pieces were performed differently although they shared the same music.
