Glass plate photographs dating from 1860s and thought to be of the family properties at Stonyfell (Crompton Family) and Hazelwood (Clark family). See 'contents' for detail of individual items. Joseph Crompton arrived in SA in 1860 on ship 'Great Britain'. Joseph L. Crompton married Susan Mary Clark, and their sons were Owen, Alfred, John Bob, Henry Woodhouse, and Tom Abernethy was the first harbormaster for South Australia.
