Certainty for children in care [electronic resource] : children with multiple care and protection orders : placement history, decision-making and psychosocial outcomes / Paul Delfabbro ... [et al.].
" ‘Certainty for Children in Care’ was conducted as a collaborative research project between the School of Psychology, University of Adelaide and the Department for Families and Communities. The research project involves three major interrelated study components that all have at their centre the issue of stability and continuity of care for children and young people in Out-of-Home Care. The following report is the second component of the study ... and explores incidents where children have been placed on three or more sequential 12 month Care and Protection Orders. It investigates why some children are experiencing multiple 12 month orders including an exploration of decision-making processes and practices, particularly those concerned with reunification. It also explores the impact multiple orders may have upon children’s sense of stability and wellbeing." -- Introd.
