Summary: Our environment is not only biophysical, but also includes the buildings and amenities around us, existing communities, and all those cultural artefacts we judge worthy of preservation. All of these must be considered in an environmental assessment. This video explains the process and its value, and the governmental procedures involved. Several examples are considered.
