MUHCS aims to disseminate innovative historiographical thinking generated by conference proceedings at the University of Melbourne. The series draws upon research undertaken by staff, post-graduate students and research associates in the Department of History, and by visitors to the Department. 'Writing Colonial Histories' includes contributions by Hannah Robert, Sam Furphy, Mary Tomsic, Sam Cadman, Zoe Laidlaw, Christina Twomey, Nikki Henningham, Shurlee Swain, Tracey Banivanua Mar and Julie Evans.
