  • Rubbing from stele with annotations and preface to a classic Confucian text on filial piety (Xiao jing, Book of Filial Piety). Annotations and preface written and calligraphy by Li Longji (685-762), Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, reign 715-756.
  • General note: Script style: li shu. /​ Stele is one side of a platform. All 4 sides engraved. Stele originally located in Tai xue (Imperial College) in Changan (current Xi'an); moved to Shang shu sheng (Minister Office) in 1st. yr. of Yuanyou, Northern Song Dynasty (904) and then to current location of Xi'an bei lin.
  • Historical: Stele date: 9th. mo. of 4th. yr. of Tianbao, Tang (745).
