Floyd Millet, right, star on Ott Romney's football and basketball teams, became assistant football coach to Eddie Kimball and was head coach of all sports in 1942-43. The basketball team that year won 17 and lost 3 and played in a Madison Square Garden, New York, tournament. Millet's 1942 football team was the first to beat the University of Utah's team.
