Notes
  • This paper is concerned with the elastic deformation of an infinite strip consisting of two materials welded together, with the interface parallel to the boundaries of the strip. The solution is obtained by a direct application of Fourier transforms in the complex plane. The stresses at infinity are evaluated when the boundary forces are not in equilibrium, and also along the interface given certain simple boundary forces.
