Notes
  • White, blue, green, red, and deep red illumination were used to shorten a dark period for plants of Bauhinia monandra under 12 hour: 12 hour alternations of white light and darkness. Red alone imitated the effect of white light in advancing the cycle of leaf movement. Deep red did not counteract the effect of previous illumination with white light.
