The view is across the Yarra towards Richmond and the Cremorne Gardens with the intricately decorated Rotunda at the left. The Rotunda, a prefabricated building from New York, housed the orchestra and was surrounded by an open air dance floor. On the left hand side of the image is a building with columns below a portico.
