  • A report of Strang's claim to divine leadership of the Mormon Church and a description of the early schisms in the Church. There are now three main "clique[s]" of Mormonism: the `Twelvites' including "the most corrupt portion of the church," the `Rigdonites' who are headed for Pennsylvania, and the Voree Mormons led by Mr. Strang. "A few years will see Voree as Nauvoo is now," as even the Smiths are headed to Wisconsin to join Strang.
