  • This web resource presents information on children and young people with disability in Australia, aged 0-17 years. Statistics and graphs are presented on: prevalence and severity of disability by gender, couple and one-parent families, disability groupings by age group, school attendance, types of difficulties experienced at school, types of support provided by schools, and participation in social or physical activities. Data cubes are also available. In 2012, there were approximately 379,000 children or young people with disability (7.3%) in Australia.
