  • Brigham Young Jr. argues against charges that Mormons are still practicing polygamy. He summarizes the history of Mormon polygamy and the government’s attempts to eradicate it. When Wilford Woodruff wrote the Manifesto and abandoned polygamy, the Mormons unanimously supported this decision and faithfully adhered to it. The polygamy question is being brought up by clergymen and politicians who wish to break up and disenfranchise the Mormons.
