Summary
  • The Integrated Family Support Project (IFSP) aimed to provide a more collaborative and coordinated approach to supporting at-risk families with young children in the Australian Capital Territory who have complex and interacting issues. It was established in 2007 as a three year pilot project. Using a strengths-based approach, the program aimed to work with families early, before the problems necessitated statutory child protection intervention or in the early stages of statutory involvement. This report evaluates the processes and outcomes of the project, following on from interim progress reports.
