This reference document provides the research and theory, benchmarking, case studies, and technical findings upon which Council‘s planning and design policies and practices are based to ensure that the planning and design of the city‘s built and natural environment better meet the aspirations and needs of children and young people.
The Redlands 2030 Community Plan goal, "A great place to grow up", forms the backdrop for the Child and Youth Friendly City project which was undertaken by Council, Griffith University, industry partners and young people.
