Notes
  • Danish home furniture consumption was worth Euro 2.5 billion. The majority of home furniture consumption in Denmark is controlled by specialist retailers. This segment is dominated by buying groups (Dan Bo, Ide Møbler, etc.). IKEA is one of the leading players among the large-scale specialist retailers. The study of the home furniture distribution system in Denmark includes short profiles of major home furniture distributors with analyses of sales performances and retail formats (bedroom specialists, DIY, kitchen and bathroom specialists, large-scale furniture specialists, specialists in RTA furniture/jeune habitat). Analysis of home furniture imports by segment (Upholstered furniture, Kitchen furniture, Dining and living room furniture, Bedroom furniture) and by country. The addresses of about 20 companies mentioned in the report are also included.
