  • A description of the corruption of the leading Mormons in Utah. The judges sent by the U.S. government can restore order; many Mormons are already becoming disillusioned with their leaders. The Mormons persecute the Gentiles, who cannot get justice by a Mormon jury. The Indians believe the Mormons are poisoning them. There is an order for the arrest of Bishop Snow. Officers are needed in the Utah army.
