  • The St. Louis Republican reports that most of the Mormons have crossed the river and left Nauvoo. There are still some families waiting to cross. The citizens of Quincy have sent provisions to Montrose to help the Mormons on their journey. Six hundred and forty-one Mormons remain in Nauvoo.
