Summary
Early in 1836 Charles Darwin spent two months in Australia as part of his voyage round the world on the Beagle. During this time he called into King George Sound in Western Australia and made extensive notes on the geology of the country through which he travelled, and recorded observations on the natural history, flora and fauna.
