Labor supply - Czechoslovakia.; Labor policy; Manpower policy
Labor policies in Czechoslovakia have undergone changes in conjunction with that country's attempts to shift to a market economy. Components of the employment policies include establishment of an unemployment insurance system and some sort of wage-setting mechanism involving only limited government involvement. Conditions and policies affecting the labor market are examined, associated problems considered, and alternative possibilities concerning unemployment are presented.
