Summary

After describing the context of disadvantage and social capital in rural and regional areas, the report compares the latest information on rural and urban differences in health and wellbeing, substance use, early learning and educational attainment, safety and crime, child abuse and family violence, and access to services and supports - for children and young people aged under 18 years old.
