"This Report provides a summary of priority population health surveillance and program delivery data collection activities that will be undertaken by the Population Health Division of the NSW Ministry of Health during 2012-2015. It describes the strategic priority and level of investment for these activities and provides a summary of the data quality, system maturity and fitness for purpose of supporting surveillance and data collection systems. Particular attention is given to Aboriginal population health surveillance and program delivery data collection activities, due to the known disparity between the quality of population level information and the quality of data for Aboriginal populations. To meet population health challenges over the next three years, new and emerging priority activities have also been identified."--Executive summary.
