Summary
Groundwater has long been regarded as an almost infinite resource. That this is not so has become very evident in recent years. A seminar, programmed for October 12-14 at the University of Canterbury, will explore the nature and geological occurrence of groundwater, the methods used for acquifer identification and resource evaluation. Practical work with pump tests will be included.
