Summary
This article describes the establishment of a school for Chinese in a Baptist Church in Adelaide. The school based in a church with missionary activities was moved to Adelaide City Mission. The teacher, whose name scarcely appears in the records, is described. The gratitude of the Chinese who acted as pall bearers at teacher's funeral bear witness to the contribution that was made.
