Here we're at City Rd, Camperdown, in Sydney, near the intersection with Cleveland St...looking inbound towards Broadway...if you zoom in, you can see one of the Grace Bros buildings on Broadway, with its distinctive clock tower...and just over to the left you can see the road workers are on smoko!<br/><br/><a href='http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/222943427'>trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/222943427</a> - a very similar pic to this...taken on the same occasion...appeared in the Sun on 16th February, 1925, in a pictorial on roadwork...

This does not show Galina Zybina (Soviet Union - bib 585) setting her OR of 16.35m in the first round of the Women's Shot Put on 30 November. Instead it shows Earlene Brown (USA - bib 580) competing in that event, most probably in the morning's Qualifying round.
