The line below is in error; "Friday, the 18th instant, by the Rev. Dr. Ross,". It should read as; "Friday, the 8th instant, by the Rev. Dr. Ross,". This is true because this newspaper was dated seven (7) days prior, (Mon 11 Jul 1842). Also, the 18th was a Monday, not a Friday, as the 8th was.
