The surname "Kettlety" in this article is misspelt. Correct spelling is "Kittelty". Solomon Kittelty was a forebear of mine. The family emigrated to Hobart from Aberdeen, Scotland in 1833 on the ship Thomas. The "Mrs Dalton" in this article would have been Charlotte Kittelty who married William Dalton.

"Mountain trout" usually refers to native Galaxias species, but it appears that sometimes native blackfish species were confused with Galaxias. This may be such an example, as Galaxias of any species pretty much don't exceed 10-11 inches at maximum.
