KAPUNDA.

[From our own Correspondent

July 12.

We have had some fine weather this week, so the roads are getting a little firmer; and, by-the-bye, while I am speaking of roads, I may mention it is mooted here that a meeting will be held next Tuesday to petition Parliament to expend £500 for the metalling and improving of the road between the North-West Bend and Kapunda.

The ploughing match here will be held on Wednesday, the 24th.

The challenge of the Kapunda Rifles is accepted by First Adelaide Rifles.' The match will come off

at Smithfield.

Revival sermons are being held at the Wesleyan Chapel.
