DEATHS.

On Monday 6th December, at his residence, Liverpool-street, Mr. WILLIAM JAMES LINDSAY, after a long and painful illness which he bore with christian fortitude. Aged 30 years. Friends are respectfully informed that the funeral will take place on Thursday 9th instant, at 3 o'clock, and as no circulars will be issued, they will accept this as an invitation to attend. th 9 d

On the 7th instant, MARY MAGDALENE, youngest daughter of Mr. John McGowan, of Richmond. The funeral will take place on Friday the 10th inst., at 2 o'clock, from her father's residence. Friends are respectfully re-quested to attend.

At his daughter's residence, Mrs. Pearsall's, Clarence Plains, on Tuesday last, Mr. WILLIAM NICHOLLS, one of the earliest settlers to this Colony, having arrived in the ship Ocean in 1804, aged 94 years. The Funeral will take place on Saturday, from the Twin Ferry Boat, leaving Kangaroo Point at 12 o'clock. Friends are res-pectfully invited, as no circulars will be issued.

On the 8th instant, at Adelaide-street CHARLES HENRY MATTHEWS, son of Mr. Geo. Matthews, late of the 99th regt., aged two years. Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Friday 10th instant, at two o'clock.

MARRIAGE.

On the 24th November, at the Synagogue, Sydney, by the Rev. M. R. Cohen, Mr. FRANK HAES, to ADELE, second daughter of Mr. Benjamin Vallentine, of Hobart Town.
