HEALTH CONFERENCE.

A conference of the presidents or representatives of the boards of health in the various colonies is to be held at tbe Board of Health office6, in Bpencer'Street, when the subject of federal quarantine will be discussed. An endeavor will be made to agree upon resolutions for a uniform system, so that they may be forwarded to the conference of intercolonial Ministers which meet0 iu Sydney next week to discuss the same

presented as follow : — Victoria, Dr. Gresswell, chairman of the Board of Health ; New South Wales, Dr. Anderson Stuart, president of the Health Department ; South Australia, Dr. Whittell, president of the Central Board of Health ; Queensland, Dr. Love, secretary to tbe board of Health ; West Australia, Dr. Loveton. New Zealand cannot arrange to send a representative, but its Health Department will accept the conclusions of tbe conference. The representative of Tasmania has not yet been appointed.
