    THE STORY SO FAR.—Alan Dundas, a young vinegrower, discovers a mysterious underground structure on his property. After immense labour, and a number [?] narrow escapes from death by traps, he pendetrates to a series of six amaxing galleries, in one of which he finds a small temple wherein is the form of a beautiful under a glass dome. He calls in the aid of his friend Dr. Barry, and the two proceed to lift the dome. When this is done Dr. Barry reanimates the woman by injecting certain fluids found in the temple. She awakes and rises from the couch. By mesmerising Barry she tells them her name is Earani, and ... [ILLUSTRATED]
