FOOTBALL

RICHMOND CLUB.

The Richmond Football Club held their annual meeting in the Richmond Town-hall last Thursday. Mr. Theo. Fink, M.L.A., occupied the chair, and there was a very large attendance. The report showed that the club occupied second place upon the premiership list, after leading nearly all through the season. They won 10 matches and lost 4. The receipts amounted to £409/12/10, and the expenditure to £267/11/5, leaving a credit balance of £142/1/5, which, coupled with the sum that the club placed to their accident fund of £50/17/6, leaves the club with £192/18/11 in the bank. It was announccd that a new training-room would be erected this season, at a cost of £187 10/. Mr. George H. Bennott, M.L.A., was re-elected president. Mr. George Beachcroft was re-turned unopposed as hon. secretary. Mr. A. M'Nair

was elected hon. treasurer, and Messrs. W. Bick-nelll, H. Slattery, A. Denhert, J. O'Brien, W. Brown, J. J. Stewart, E. J. Sexton, G. Lovell, A. Stevens were elected on the committee.
